| GatherMax is a proprietary process for enhancing PSTM gathers to aid in AVO analysis. GatherMax automatically compensates for residual NMO, amplitude balancing problems caused by offset distribution ambiguities commonly found in land seismic data surveys, and improves signal to noise ratio.
